Ursa Major/Minor
"Single/Two Stage L2 Class Rocket"

Ursa Major/Minor is a Single stage rocket that can be easily modified to fly as a two-stage rocket. The design was inspired by the design of acme co. The single stage variant was launched for my level 2 certification launching on a Aerotech J270 using an eggtimer altimeter to perform dual deployment recovery flying to 3,000 feet. The rocket then was converted to fly as a two-stage rocket using an Aerotech J435 for the booster and an Aerotech J270 for the sustainer. The sustainer and booster both utilized eggtimer altimeters for safe recovery of the entire vehicle.
