Blue Dragon is a modified SBR Thor that is designed to launch on an Aerotech L1000 to an Altitude of 6000 feet. The electronics utilize redundant eggtimer altimeters to ensure the safe recovery of the rocket utilizing a dual deployment recovery system. Composite layups on the body and fins will be used to ensure the durability of the airframe. The rocket is designed to fly on J through L class motors to work towards achieving a level 3 high power certification.
